Integrator: velocity Verlet with adaptive substeps โ€” close encounters automatically get finer time resolution. Not a flight computer โ€” fun first, ephemeris second. Stars can be detonated from the dossier; the outcome (nova, supernova, remnant type) depends on mass, and a white dwarf fed past 1.4 Mโ˜‰ goes Type Ia on its own. Moons are drawn at exaggerated distances from their planets so they're visible โ€” the simulation uses their true, much tighter orbits. Fictional systems use invented-but-plausible masses and orbits; the gravity is just as real.
