How to play Museum of First Words
Place one word. Once. Forever.
How to play
Every account gets to place exactly one word in the museum — ever. Click a spot on the wall, type one word (up to 32 characters), size it, and place it.
Words can't overlap existing words, and once placed, a word is permanent. The wall is shared by everyone.
When the first wall completely fills, a secret 3D wing opens: you walk the museum in first person to find an empty wall for your word.
Scoring
- There's no score and no leaderboard — the museum is a permanent shared artwork, not a competition.
Tips
- Walk the wall before placing; context makes and ruins words.
- Short words fit gaps that long words can't reach — but a long word claims real estate forever.
- Pointless Plus adds colored and animated text styles, plus a plaque signature shown when someone hovers your word.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move or delete my word?
No. One word, once, forever. That's the covenant of the museum.
What happens when the wall is full?
The museum reveals a 3D wing with more walls — you explore it on foot to find placement space.
